Maryland High School Softball - St. Mary's Ryken edges Huntingtown

The St. Mary's Ryken Knights softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes to 0 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paul VI for a Washington Catholic battle on Tuesday, April 8. St. Mary's Ryken will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 22-1 league win over The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Huntingtown moves to 6-1 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-3.
