New Mexico High School Softball - Jal bounces Newcomb

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Jal Panthers softball team scored a tight 24-19 win over the Newcomb Skyhawks.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes come into the A/2A District 4 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Dora was routed by Loving (Loving, NM), 17-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Skyhawks battle the Rehoboth Christian Lynx (Rehoboth, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 8. Newcomb will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Lynx come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM).
