The Janesville Craig Cougars softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Stoughton Vikings to 5 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sun Prairie East for a Big Eight battle on Monday, April 7. Janesville Craig will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 10-0 league win over Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Stoughton moves to 3-4 on the season. The Vikings host Portage (Portage, WI) to confront the Warriors in a Badger - Small battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Portage won 15-4 in their recent non-league battle against Westfield Area (Westfield, WI)
