In Saturday's non-league match, the host Kearny Kardinals softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Memorial Tigers.
The Kardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ). The Redwings come into the HCIAL - American match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Hoboken was routed by West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 12-9, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ) in a HCIAL - National match, on Monday, April 7. Memorial will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
