California High School Softball - Yuba City Manteca

The Manteca Buffaloes the visiting Yuba City Honkers softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. Manteca will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 11-1 league win over Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA).

The Honkers (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners enter the Foothill Valley League challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Nevada Union edged Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 11-9, in a non-league challenge.
