California High School Softball - Vista Murrieta edges Marina

April 5, 2025: Murrieta, CA 92563

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) and the visiting Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA), observed Vista Murrieta's softball team get by Marina by a tally of 4-2.

The Broncos (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA). The Golden Bears go into the Southwestern bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Temecula Valley tipped Escondido (Escondido, CA), 12-5, in a non-league bout.

Next, the Vikings meet the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a Sunset test, on Tuesday, April 8. Marina will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Griffins go into the test with a 9-9 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA).
