The Sebastopol Bobcats triumphed over the host Meridian Wildcats softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats meet the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Sebastopol will attempt to upgrade on its 20-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Ethel (Ethel, MS).
The Wildcats (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Warriors enter the 7A Region 3 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Oak Grove was routed by Pearl (Pearl, MS), 5-1, in a league challenge.
