The Millikan Rams softball squad (Long Beach, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA)

With the triumph, Oaks Christian improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lions host Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA) to face the Panthers in a Marmonte contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 10-7. Newbury Park lost 5-4 in their recent league contest against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA)

The Rams now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a Moore contest on Tuesday, April 8. Millikan will face a Lancers squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-8.
