The Orcutt Academy Spartans softball team scored 8 runs and held the host San Luis Obispo Tigers to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atascadero for a CCAA - Sunset battle on Tuesday, April 8. Orcutt Academy will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 12-10 league loss to Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, San Luis Obispo moves to 8-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA) to confront the Pirates in a CCAA - Ocean battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 0-7. Santa Ynez lost 18-1 in their recent league battle against Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA)
