In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Avon Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Kenston Bombers.
The Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Orange for a non-league test on Thursday, April 8. Avon will face a Lions squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Bombers face the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 10. Kenston will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 11-8 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, OH).
