California High School Volleyball - Burlingame can't hold off San Mateo

In Wednesday's league battle, the host San Mateo Bearcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Burlingame Panthers.
The Bearcats now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capuchino for a PAL - Ocean test on Friday, April 8. San Mateo will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Lincoln held off Washington (San Francisco, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
