Arizona High School Volleyball - Valley Vista edged by Cesar Chavez

The Cesar Chavez Champions held off the host Valley Vista Monsoon volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Champions now have a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Browne for a 6A Metro test on Thursday, April 7. Cesar Chavez will confront a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Bruins record now stands at 5-4.

The Monsoon (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions enter the 6A Southwest test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Shadow Ridge held off Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league test.
