In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets baseball team scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Platteview Trojans.
The Rockets (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains go into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Bellevue East was overwhelmed by Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE), 10-6, in a league game.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Lincoln Southwest tipped Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE), 6-3, in a league game.
