Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 8. Marion will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record.
The Mules now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belleville East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. Poplar Bluff will confront a Lancers team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 6-3.
