In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Gilmour Academy Lancers lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-10 victory over the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals.
The Lancers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Friday, April 8. Gilmour Academy will face a Beavers squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Royals face the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 9. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bombers come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 11-8 league win over Wooster (Wooster, OH).
