Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA), 13-7 in a non-league battle.

The Griffins now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Canterbury School for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 9. Pomfret School will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT). The Saints record now stands at 2-0.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) in a Independent Schools battle, on Saturday, April 9. St. Mark's will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 15-14 league loss to Rivers (Weston, MA).
