Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Guilderland Flying Dutchman (Guilderland Center, NY), 11-10 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, April 22.

With the loss, Guilderland falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Flying dutchman travel to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
