Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH), 16-5 in a league challenge.

The Lakers now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson Area for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. Pymatuning Valley will face a Falcons squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Harding falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Skippers host Maplewood (Cortland, OH) to face the Rockets in a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Monday, April 11. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
