The St. Charles East Fighting Saints got by the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Fighting Saints (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Neuqua Valley was edged by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

The Blackhawks now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Naperville North for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11.
