Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Benedictine upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Cadets host Wayne County (Jesup, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a 4A Area 3 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 16-8. Wayne County lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Ware County (Waycross, GA)

With the defeat, Colleton County falls to 4-8 on the season. The Cougars host May River (Bluffton, SC) to battle the Sharks in a 4A Region 7 test on Monday, April 17. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 12-5.
