The Corinth Holders Pirates baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Wakefield Wolverines to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Wake Forest gained a win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC), 4-1, in a non-league match.
The Wolverines (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 9-6 record.
