The St. Rita Mustangs crushed the host Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle baseball team by a count of 17-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brooks for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 11. St. Rita will face a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league win over Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
Next, the Soaring Eagle face the American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a 3A Region 15 bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Juan Diego Catholic will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 13-4 league loss to Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT).
