The Lafayette Generals baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 2 in the Generals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Generals (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the District 43 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Tates Creek was edged by Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Red Wolves (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks go into the South Suburban - Blue match with a 0-0 record.
