The Logan Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Loris Lions to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals go into the Cardinal match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Winfield by Riverside (Belle, WV), 5-3, in a non-league match.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Blue Jackets go into the 3A Region 7 match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Aynor by Gonzaga (Washington, DC), 9-5, in a non-league match.
