The Sparta Spartans crushed the host Passaic Indians baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morristown for a North Jersey - National bout on Monday, April 10. Sparta will play a Colonials squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 1-2.
The Indians now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Passaic County Tech for a Big North - Liberty battle on Tuesday, April 11.
