The Suffern Mounties baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Pearl River Pirates to 8 in the Mounties non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mounties (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY). The Admirals go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Arlington was edged by Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Clarkstown North (New City, NY). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Clarkstown North tipped Mahopac (Mahopac, NY), 5-3, in a non-league match.
