The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) and the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), saw Yough's lacrosse team nudge Ambridge by a margin of 10-9.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA). The enter the WPIAL 3A 1 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Ellis was tipped by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 13-5, in a league challenge.

The Bridgers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Knights enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 1-1 record.
