The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the visiting Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA), saw El Modena's lacrosse team top Orange Lutheran by a margin of 17-4.
The Vanguards (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches enter the Crestview challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Canyon was overwhelmed by Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA), 17-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Segerstrom beat Valencia (Placentia, CA), 5-4, in a league challenge.
