Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 10-9 in a non-league test.

The Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chardon for a Region 6 test on Saturday, April 8. Hawken will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-1.

In their next game, the Royals face the Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) in a Region 6 test, on Tuesday, April 11. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 10-9 league win over Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH).
