Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), 11-6 in a non-league test.

The Indians now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Milford for a non-league test on Monday, April 17. Indian River will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-2.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern test, on Wednesday, April 19. Smyrna will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Ravens come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 18-2 league loss to Milford (Milford, DE).
