The New Milford Green Wave lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the host Newtown Nighthawks to 5 in the Green Wave league win on Thursday.

The Green Wave (2-0) will now prepare for their match against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels go into the South West match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, New Fairfield nudged Canton (Canton, CT), 15-3, in a non-league match.
