The Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) softball the host Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA), 4-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Eagles go into the 5A District 4 bout with a 29-3 record. In their last bout, Live Oak held off East Ascension (Gonzales, LA), 11-1, in a league bout.

The Chipmunks now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Haynes Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, April 10.
