In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Bristol Eastern Lancers softball team scored a nice 21-9 win over the Simsbury Trojans.
Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South outing, on Wednesday, April 12. Bristol Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Redcoats enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Maloney (Meriden, CT).
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Avon was routed by Middletown (Middletown, CT), 25-2, in a non-league outing.
