Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Adams for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Parkway will battle a Starfires squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, OH). The Starfires record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Fort Recovery falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Memorial (St. Marys, OH) to battle the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Memorial lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Minster (Minster, OH)
