The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Fostoria Redmen to 1 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hopewell-Loudon moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to clash with the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, April 10. The Golden Bears come into the game with a record of 4-1.

In their next game, the Redmen clash with the Arcadia Redskins (Arcadia, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 7. Fostoria will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
