North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittston for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. North Pocono will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Wyoming Area lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Elk Lake (Dimock, PA)
