Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Winfield for a Cardinal challenge on Monday, April 10. Sissonville will battle a Generals squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA). The Generals record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV) to battle the Black Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. The Black Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. South Charleston won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sissonville (Charleston, WV)
