Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pine Ridge Panthers (Deltona, FL), 21-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host The First Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Lyman will battle a Royals squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL). The Royals record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Pine Ridge falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host DeLand (DeLand, FL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. DeLand won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Atlantic (Port Orange, FL)
