St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Saints now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marist for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. St. Charles East will face a RedHawks squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Neuqua Valley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8.
