In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors softball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Shrewsbury Colonials.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA) in a Dual Valley outing, on Monday, April 10. Nipmuc Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Sammies enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA).

The Colonials (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Andover (Andover, MA). The Golden Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
