The Cherokees come into the game with a record of 2-0. Morgan Township won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 8. North Newton will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Salt Fork (Sidell, IL).
