The Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) softball routed the host Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ), 12-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Mahwah defeated NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league match.
With the loss, Teaneck falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Highwaymen travel to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, April 10. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-2. Pascack Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ)
