Illinois High School Baseball - River Ridge/Scales Mound defeats Amboy

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) and the host Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), saw River Ridge/Scales Mound's baseball squad beat Amboy by a margin of 12-7.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 8. River Ridge/Scales Mound will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL).

The Clippers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Polo for a Northwest Upstate Illini - East battle on Tuesday, April 9. Amboy will play a Marcos squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Marcos record now stands at 3-4.
