The Babylon Panthers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Port Jefferson Royals to 2 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Stony Brook gained a win over Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 6-4, in a non-league match.
The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Pierson (Sag Harbor, NY). The Whalers go into the Section 11 B-8 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Pierson gained a win over Bridgehampton (Bridgehampton, NY), 6-3, in a league match.
