Illinois High School Baseball - Freeport loses to Byron

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Byron Tigers baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Freeport Pretzels.
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the Big Northern game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Oregon was overwhelmed by Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
The Pretzels now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois contest on Monday, April 8. Freeport will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
