The Canton Little Giants baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Pontiac Indians to 5 in the Little Giants non-league victory on Saturday.
The Little Giants (6-5) will now prepare for their match against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Raiders go into the Mid-Illini match with a 11-1 record.
The Indians (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles go into the Illini Prairie match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Rantoul edged Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
