The Coolidge Bears baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting San Miguel Vipers to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Florence (Florence, AZ). The Gophers go into the 3A South Central match with a 15-4 record. In their last match, Florence was overwhelmed by Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Vipers (1-14) will now prepare for their match against Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Titans go into the 3A South match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Palo Verde was overwhelmed by Safford (Safford, AZ), 16-0, in a league match.
