Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Copper Hills upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Grizzlies host Bingham (South Jordan, UT) to battle the Miners in a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Miners come into the test with a record of 5-5. Bingham lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Lone Peak (Highland, UT)

With the defeat, Lone Peak falls to 6-4 on the season. The Knights host Skyridge (Lehi, UT) to battle the Falcons in a 6A Region 3 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 6-3. Skyridge won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Ridgeline (Millville, UT)
