The Discovery Canyon Thunder baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host The Classical Academy Titans to 11 in the Thunder non-league victory on Saturday.
The Thunder (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the 4A/5A Pikes Peak match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Cheyenne Mountain edged Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO), 17-4, in a non-league match.
The Titans (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Scorpions go into the 4A/3A CSML North match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Sand Creek edged Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO), 18-3, in a non-league match.
