The Dover-Eyota Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lake City Tigers to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints go into the Three Rivers match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, St. Charles was overwhelmed by Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN), 9-3, in a league match.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars go into the Hiawatha Valley match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Zumbrota-Mazeppa gained a win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 4-0, in a non-league match.
